9:45 Presidents Introduction

10:00 - 12:00 "The Science of Electrolysis"

by Sara Paisner

She will teach us about the chemistry occurring at the tip of the needle due to Galvanic, Thermolysis, and Blend methods of electrolysis. The three areas covered in the seminar are the chemistry of epilation methods, why needle design matters for optimal electrolysis, and the science behind the sterilization used on epilation needles.

​Presenter is Brenna Morse, Associate Professor in the Solomont School of Nursing, Zuckerberg College of Health Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. A doctorally prepared nurse researcher, she also holds three board certifications including: National Board for Certification of School Nurses, Certified Nurse Educator, and Pain management Nurse.

​Our first virtual seminar was held in November 2020 and it was a huge success.

Our participants were pleasantly surprised at the ease of connecting electronically.

They loved the convenience of obtaining CEUs from their homes and this mode of presenting has continued since.

In the future, we hope to once again also provide live presentations.
