Presentation will discuss best practice  to keep you and your clients safe and healthy.   Areas covered will include:PPE ( personal protective equipment), vaccinations, hand Hygiene, blood borne pathogens, proper disinfection and sterilization of environment and equipment/instrumentation, steps to avoid disease transmission

 

 

Brigid Lednicky RN, CIC

She has over 40 years of healthcare experience covering a wide variety of disciplines.   Her focus in infection control started in 2000 while working in surgical services.   Certified by Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology  (CBIC) since 2011.   She serves as a board member for the Central Texas Chapter of Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology (APIC) and member of Texas State University Institutional Biosafety Committee since 2016.

In addition to 10 years of clinical training experience, she is also the co-owner of Bright Esthetics & Body Wellness, a Med Spa/Wellness Center.  Bright opened its doors in 2018 and opened it’s second location at the tail end of 2021. She resides in Manchester, NH with her fiancé and 3 year old daughter Vienna.

Our first virtual seminar was held in November 2020 and it was a huge success.

Our participants were pleasantly surprised at the ease of connecting electronically.

They loved the convenience of obtaining CEUs from their homes and this mode of presenting has continued since.
